Alex Mason (Alexreigh) has enjoyed a career in the beauty industry for over 10 years.  As her passion for the beauty industry grew she made the huge choice to claim her own space in this field by founding eXPRESSIONS by Alexreigh in 2016. Since then, the work of Ms. Mason can be seen in published magazines, nationally syndicated reality television shows, as well as music videos. Her artistry specializes in "natural glam." Each Iook created within eXPRESSIONS by Alexreigh is focused around the belief that makeup should enhance a client's natural beauty, not overpower it. After completing the necessary education and training, Alexreigh became a licensed esthetician in 2023. 

 

While in the burgeoning years of eXPRESSIONS by Alexreigh, Ms. Mason decided to start her own nonprofit, Beauty is Mine 501(c)(3). The passion and inspiration for this project came from her late cousin Niocca Owens, who lost her battle with cancer. The mission of Beauty is Mine is to empower all women through the experience of beauty, especially adolescents and women diagnosed with cancer. Services are provided to females of all ages, ethnicities, and various stages of life, with the dual goal of affirming those self esteems,  while also promoting cancer awareness in the

community. Those selected receive a dedicated day of beauty including a personalized makeover as well as being featured in their own prom photoshoot, fashion show, and/or graduation photoshoot.  In some cases the recipient is also awarded a scholarship for college. Beauty Is Mine provides a moment/memory that shifts focus from a negative situation towards a realization of inner beauty, hope, love, and courage.
